                    The Association of Friends of the Library is a non-profit group of dedicated volunteers.  The aim of the Friends of the Library is to support and enhance the Cardinal Public Library and its programs by raising funds through bingos,  2 - 3 per month.  The Association meets at 6:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of the month.

                    Since its establishment in 1998 the group has :

            - replaced the carpet in the Library
            - installed a new gas furnace and central air conditioning
            - replaced all the windows
            - installed ramp and automatic door to enable wheelchair access
            - maintain the computers and internet.
